An exploration into a new build technique, we found ourselves investigating how best to feature large, solid poured concrete blocks.

With the client wishing for a new home in the back yard of her existing, but not at the expense of any big trees, and the builders desire to utilise a new-found concrete technique, a design was conceived that allowed for both big, open spaces with expansive flow out, and intimate breaks amongst the canopies.
